 GapStudio launches the summer drop, available starting June 20 in select stores and markets. Designed by Zac Posen, EVP & Creative Director of Gap Inc., this assortment elevates everyday summer essentials through the lens of craftsmanship and effortless warm-weather ease.  
 
Featuring our all-new draped denim, with a liquid-soft hand feel and breezy lightness that offers an easy, effortless flow–perfect for the warm-weather months. A sun-faded finish brings a lived-in look while thoughtful design details like let-down hems reveal tonal contrast and add character through subtle texture and wear. 

The summer drop is made to move with you, anchored in three timeless summer fabrics-denim, chambray and voile- each piece is cut with intention and lightness, offering thoughtful silhouettes and a refined approach to layering, volume, and style.  

“It’s about the sensation of that first walk along the ocean in jeans,” Posen says. “We wanted fabrics that are soft, light, breezy — capturing the feeling of summer, while honoring the heritage of Gap.” 
 
Key styles in the collection include: 

  • The Mid Rise Draped Denim Baggy Jeans in a liquid denim with a sun-faded wash and undone edge.
  • A Draped Denim Romper with western shell snaps and drawstring waist.
  • High Rise Draped Denim Trousers serve as a continuation of GapStudio’s sculptural volume language, reimagined for everyday wear.
  • Draped Denim Crop Shirts and Voile separates that blur the line between beach coverup and streetwear.
  • Crepe Dresses in an abstract, smile-inducing print with adjustable straps in signature crepe.
  • Lightweight Modern Off-Shoulder Tops, that nod back to a custom GapStudio Gold Mesh version as seen on Ayesha Curry.
  • ​A Voile and Draped Denim Shirtdress or “Gaptan” that offers ethereal lightness with an elevated wash and drape. 

Worn by Lila Moss, the line comes to life as she infuses each look with her cool and effortless signature style to reflect a new way of dressing that feels relevant, refined, and ready for everything summer brings.  
 
The GapStudio summer drop ranges from $54 to $148 and will be available at seven Gap stores nationwide, online at gap.com and in international markets.
