Responsibly Designed Yoga Gear Offers Customers Head-to-Toe Performance-Based Movement Solutions
Athleta, a Gap Inc. brand, today announced the launch of its first ever ‘Flow Freely’ yoga mat and corresponding accessories, including a block and bag. Rooted in Athleta’s performance DNA, the debut yoga accessories collection was created by the Athleta design team with a commitment to making more sustainable, technical performance products in a way that creates positive environmental and social impact.
Made with 70% YULEX® natural rubber, the yoga mat eliminates harmful materials commonly used in yoga gear by using plant-derived rubber that was responsibly sourced and comes from FSC-certified forests. The yoga block is made with 51% renewable sugarcane plants and the yoga bag is made with 100% recycled polyester ripstop fabric.
The B Corp certified brand called upon its pillars of beauty, innovation and impact to design a mat, block and bag that compliments its performance apparel pieces like the Transcend Bodysuit and allows customers to build their studio wardrobes from top-to-mat in one shopping visit.

The three piece accessories collection features a mat, a block and a bag. Available in an array of color options such as Snapdragon Rose, Damask Mauve and Coastline Blue, the accessories range in price from $24 - $119. The ‘Flow Freely’ yoga accessories are now available in select stores and on Athleta.com.
