To provide our customers with more convenience during the holidays, we are continuing to reimagine shopping experiences across our family of brands—whether it be in-store, online or a little bit of both. Starting this week, Old Navy and Athleta have rolled out branded service hubs across all U.S. stores with the Convenience Spot at Old Navy and At Your Service at Athleta, to help provide customers with a fast and easy shopping service for all their holiday gifting.
Old Navy’s Convenience Spot and Athleta’s At Your Service hubs were designed to provide on-the-go customers a way to bypass the checkout line for quick service, so stores can reserve it for customers who have found great looks and gifts in store.
Since we’ve been piloting these service hubs in Old Navy and Athleta, stores have seen higher conversion and better scores on "ease of checkout" from customers. Even better, allowing customers to make quick returns or pick up an order at these hubs means shorter checkout lines for customers making new purchases. One customer shared, "the separate returns station was a huge help in not having to wait in line and the service was so positive."
Stationed in the front of the store, customers will have access to the following options at The Convenience Spot and At Your Service hubs:
Buy Online, Pickup In-Store: Order from oldnavy.com and athleta.com and pick it up at your local Old Navy and Athleta store in two hours or less.
Fast & Easy Returns + Exchanges: Dropoff your in-store and online returns from Old Navy and Athleta, and we will take care of the rest.
Gift Card Sales: Take the stress out of the last-minute gifting with a gift card and let your loved ones pick out something special in-store or online.
For even more convenience this holiday, customers can download the Old Navy or Athleta mobile app to browse for their favorite styles and sizes, and choose Buy Online, Pickup In-Store or contactless Curbside Pickup at checkout, where available. When customers select Curbside Pickup, they can now use our fast and easy “doorbell” feature to alert us that they have arrived outside to pick up their order, without having to call the store. Once they arrive, we’ll bring out their order and place it safely in the trunk or back seat of their car. Old Navy and Athleta’s in-app Wallet feature provide customers an easy way to check their Navyist and Athleta Rewards so they can earn and redeem across all Gap Inc. brands, helping to make the most out of holiday purchases.
