About the Role

In this role, you will partner with our brands & corporate functions across the globe, to continuously drive value across non-Merchandise categories. You will establish, analyze, and refine the business’s procurement strategy ensuring alignment with business goals. Make certain we do the right thing as an organization by optimizing our purchasing power, building, and maintaining strategic vendor relationships, and contract management.

What You'll Do

  • Value Capture - Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies across marketing categories, ensuring alignment with business goals. Accountable for delivering targeted savings across P&L, capital, revenue, and non-P&L spend. Build and maintain a multi-year project pipeline to drive sustained value creation year over year.
  • Sourcing Rigor - Champion a culture of competitive bidding across all marketing procurement initiatives by leveraging advanced sourcing strategies and driving a transformative shift in team operations.
  • Category Management – Drive the creation and implementation of robust, insight-driven category strategies. Build deep category management capabilities that translate into actionable, multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with business objectives. 
  • Team Development/Coaching – Partner with a global network of category managers to serve as a high-performing, strategic advisor to the business. Consistently deliver top-quartile value by aligning procurement initiatives with key business priorities.
  • Procurement Technology
    • Leverage procurement technologies (e.g., spend analytics, Sourcing, eAuctions, CLM) to enhance team efficiency and streamline sourcing processes.
    • Develop and maintain robust spend analytics, category segmentation, and supplier profiling to support opportunity identification and strategic category management.
    • Drive data-informed decision-making by integrating digital tools into day-to-day procurement operations. Build and strengthen strategic relationships - successfully partner across functions (GTS, Finance, InfoSec, Legal, and Risk Management) and partner with senior internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and colleagues to drive results and facilitate complex change management across the enterprise.
  • Leverage strong influencing skills - Effectively manage competing priorities and urgent demands while proactively exploring innovative solutions and applying critical thinking to drive optimal outcomes.

  • Experience
    • Proven experience in Procurement or a related field, with a strong preference for expertise in Marketing categories.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and adaptability in dynamic environments.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
    • Curious and continuous learner with a track record of driving results through strong project management and critical thinking.
    • Excellent executive level communication and presentation skills.
  • Sourcing Capability
    • Specialized expertise in retail fashion and Marketing.
    • Skilled in influencing stakeholders at all levels within a global organization to align on sourcing strategies and deliver results.
    • Proven ability to drive long-term value through the development and execution of strategic category plans, leveraging deep market insights and strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Drive for Results
    • Skilled at uncovering cost-saving opportunities through data-driven insights and rigorous analysis.
    • Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and financial discipline.
    • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, guiding teams to high performance and delivering sustainable business outcomes.
  • Change Leadership
    • Naturally inquisitive and challenge-driven, consistently asking “What if?” and “Why not?” to inspire innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams both with and without formal authority to drive alignment and decision-making.
  • In-depth expertise in Category Management and related processes
    • Proactively benchmark best practices to inform strategy development and enhance sourcing effectiveness.
    • Continuously build category expertise by engaging with industry experts, professional associations, peers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Education - Bachelor’s, Masters preferred.  Six Sigma, CPSM or similar certification is a plus.
