About the Role

Gap Inc. is seeing a strategic, forward-thinking Senior Manager of Supply Chain Strategy to join our team in support of Gap Inc.’s end-to-end supply chain transformation agenda. You will partner across brands and functions—including Product Creation, Technology, Sourcing, Logistics, and Finance—to define strategic priorities, operationalize transformation initiatives, and deliver measurable business impact. Acting as a strategic advisor to functional leadership, you will drive operational excellence, orchestrate cross-functional work, and build capabilities that elevate how GSC executes today and prepares for tomorrow.

The ideal candidate brings experience in retail supply chain and/or management consulting, thrives in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, and excels at influencing without authority.

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership and Transformation

  • Support the development of Long-Range Plans and Annual Operating Plans for the Global Supply Chain
  • Develop and drive key elements of the Supply Chain Strategy roadmap, focusing on end-to-end capability building across logistics, product development, sourcing, and inventory management.
  • Provide perspective on best-in-class retail supply chain practices

Process Optimization and Operational Excellence

Program Management and Change Management

  • Manage recurring cross-functional engagement to ensure alignment on priorities, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Develop executive level status updates. Include initiative objectives, goals, kpis, progress, and risks. Anticipate risks and roadblocks; proactively develop mitigation plans to maintain momentum and business continuity.
  • Drive enterprise-wide change management, including rollout, training, and communication plans to embed new ways of working.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in retail supply chain, apparel development, fashion technology, retail operations, or management consulting, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to quickly distill complex topics into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Deep experience across the end-to-end process spectrum: process design, operational frameworks, capability building, and large-scale implementation.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to organize, interpret, and draw insights from large and complex data sets.
  • Skilled communicator with proven ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong project and change management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at multiple altitudes—comfortable diving into details while maintaining a view of the bigger picture.
  • Experience with or interest in leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis, decision-making, and transformation work.
