About the Role
The manager of logistics planning will lead cross functional planning and execution of seasonal inventory flows, with a focus on forecasting, product prioritization and monitoring logistics network service across out transportation and distribution networks. This role will support both online and retail operations and work closely with partners throughout the global supply chain team as well as Old Navy inventory teams. The ideal candidate combines operational experience, strategic thinking and a drive for continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Seasonal Flow Forecasting: Develop and maintain seasonal logistics forecasts aligned with merchandising and sales plans. Anticipate demand shifts and proactively adjust logistics strategies to support peak periods and promotional activity
- Product Prioritization and Flow Management: Manage and optimize product flow strategies across DCs and transportation network. Establish prioritization framework for inbound and outbound shipments to meet channel specific service requirements and new flow launch. Coordinate with inventory planning to ensure alignment on availability and allocation timing.
- Own end-to-end operational reporting across both online and retail channels to ensure visibility and execution of flow strategies
- Lead coordination and tracking of Value Added Services (VAS) to support business needs and on-time product availability
- Manage Sample flow processes to support Marketing, Photo Studio, and Donations, ensuring service-level alignment and timely execution
- Monitor and action aged inventory in collaboration with Inventory Management and DC Operations teams to drive timely resolution
- Network Service Monitoring: Track and report key service metrics across the logistics network, identify bottlenecks or service degradation and partner with operations teams to drive resolution across Gap Inc’s leveraged network. Maintain real-time visibility into logistics operations during peak periods and events
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Engagement across logistics network partners, including sourcing, transportation and distribution to define and drive integrated logistics plans in alignment with brand commercial intent.
- Continuous Improvement & Analytics: Identify opportunities to streamline logistics process and enhance network efficiency. Leverage data and analytical tools to assess performance and inform decisions. Contribute to broader supply chain transformation projects and innovation ideas.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations or related field preferred
- 5-7 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Planning or Inventory Management
- Experience navigating cross functional initiatives, working across Distribution, Transportation, Inventory and Finance functions
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with comfort using planning and BI tools (E.g. Power BI, Excel, ERP/WMS/TMS systems)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with a track record of leading cross functional initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Appareletail industry experience preferred

Salary Range: $114,900 - $152,200 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
