About the Role

As a Planner, Pricing Analytics at Old Navy, you will play a key role in shaping our pricing and discounting strategies to deliver value and clarity to our customers. You’ll leverage data-driven insights to define competitive positioning and support strategic decision-making across the business.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute repeatable analytics to inform Old Navy’s pricing strategy, architecture, and tactics.
  • Analyze internal and external data to guide Old Navy’s competitive price positioning.
  • Build models to assess the impact of pricing changes on sales, margin, and inventory.
  • Identify opportunities to refine pricing strategies and provide actionable recommendations to cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Planning teams to improve pricing processes and ensure compliance.
  • Simplify and automate repeatable, value-driven processes.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners on strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Support continuous process improvement and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Partner with Analyst on ad-hoc pricing projects to enhance overall business performance.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience in pricing, merchandise planning/analytics, or financial planning—preferably in retail or e-commerce.
  • Skilled in analyzing large datasets and translating insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Experienced in scenario and what-if modeling.
  • Strong grasp of retail math concepts (sales, margin, discounting, inventory turnover).
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and familiarity with statistical methods.
  • Financially savvy with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
  • Open-minded, curious, and receptive to feedback—comfortable with learning and adapting.
  • Highly proficient in Excel; working knowledge of Power BI, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, R, and Databricks is a plus.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics and tell compelling data stories.
  • Organized, accountable, and collaborative with excellent time management skills.
  • BA/BS degree required, preferably in Analytics, Mathematics, Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

Salary Range: $90,100 - $119,400 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
