About the Role

This Sr. Analyst of Reporting & Analytics for Gap Brand is responsible for supporting the Inventory Management team with regards to Reporting, Tools, & Testing. This Sr. Analyst will partner with Inventory Management leads in identifying opportunities to enable more efficient and effective decision making through creating reports in a dynamic & storytelling format to support major milestones (weekly business, OTB, Pricing, Investment Review). This work will require cross-brand and cross-functional SME involvement to help bring forward opportunities to drive simplification and efficiency, along with supporting, testing, and helping to roll-out new processes and/or tooling. This individual will also lead and support all aspects of Brand Testing, including test ideation, structure, execution, analytics, and hind-sighting. Testing is a key focus area in our business, enabling our ability to gain internal and external feedback that influences future ways of working and ultimately drives high-impact, strategic decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Support key initiatives and strategies through reporting solutions that quantify results through structured approach, rigorous analysis, and proactive communication.
  • Build reports & tools in an automated and repeatable way.
  • Structure/manage analytic approach, forecasting, and measurement methodology for Inventory Management initiatives.
  • Provide research, analysis, and support for identifying, evaluating, and capturing strategic opportunities.
  • Identify capability needs and provide solutions to capture opportunity or relieve pain points.
  • Train on functionality of new reports.
  • Develop expertise in all Gap Brand testing capabilities with a strong proficiency in leveraging APT software to select store groups, structure tests, and analyze/share out results.
  • Present statistically significant findings & results to senior leadership.
  • Own and drive end-to-end execution process to ensure on-time test launch and compliance.
  • Partner with the cross-functional partners to translate results into actionable insights.
  • Understand product calendar and how to integrate insightsesults into milestones + decision making.
  • Develop and maintain tools to track current and future tests.

Who You Are

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with understanding of the retail industry.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Access.
  • Familiarity in VBA, SQL, Essbase, Microstrategy, APT, PowerBI (preferred).
  • Apparel, Inventory Management, and/or Gap Inc. experience a plus.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to approach all tasks with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Possess strong business acumen and strategic agility, able to handle many projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing workload across direct and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills, able to present ideas and directions that rally others to action
  • Execution and results-focused with emphasis on on-time delivery, ability to work independently, as well as with teams.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional partners through effective collaboration.
  • Possess strong command skills and effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience on projects with complex scope with system and process implementations across an organization.

Salary Range: $79,800 - $105,800 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
