About the Role

The Project Manager of Labor Forecasting & Analytics will manage, track results, and coordinate data from various systems to provide strategic guidance to Operations leaders based on key performance metrics. This position will partner with cross-brand, cross-functional, and cross-channel business partners to ensure that our decisions are grounded in proven data and analysis.

This role is responsible for providing analytical support on key strategic labor initiatives and projects in service to our stores' organization. The project manager will contribute to a range of initiatives that enable our brand goals and priorities to come to life in our stores. The PM will additionally be a partner in helping to solve problems with data-driven insights. This role supports multiple projects simultaneously and looks for connections or correlations between a range of topics that may be unrelated and informs the qualitative and quantitative analysis. This role will support forecasting for omni labor, analytics for labor tests, and focus on ongoing and continuous subject matter expertise and process improvement of all Gap Inc labor systems to drive forecast accuracy and optimized labor.

What You'll Do

  • Generate and maintain information feeding reporting systems
  • Build reporting for strategic field initiatives and tests
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for key initiatives and tests
  • Provide strategic guidance to Operations leaders based on key performance metrics
  • Plan, manage and track results of multiple workstreams; coordinating the efforts between various functional departments
  • Drive continuous improvement in the reporting of relevant data to the field
  • Support ongoing continuous improvement to drive labor optimization
  • Analyze and propose solutions within brand store environment that require system differentiation
  • Oversee accurate and timely labor reporting for a variety of audiences
  • Develop expertise in all Gap Inc labor systems

Who You Are

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a dynamic business landscape Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, to prioritize, and adapt to a changing environment

  • Strong relationship building skills and experience working closely with senior executives and cross functional partners to influence strategic agendas and operationalize key strategic initiatives

  • Strong critical thinking and business curiosity, including strong analytical and creative Problem-solving skills, strong ability to work with complex and detailed data to drive insights and decisions

  • Analytical expertise with a focus in labor management and systems

  • Advanced excel skillset (Access and PowerBI a plus)

  • Experience with labor systems recommended (WFM, Shyft, Labor Pro or similar platforms)
