About the role

The Director - Product Creation Strategy reports to Senior Director Production Strategy and will facilitate the creation and drive delivery of a range of strategic initiatives in support of the Design, Merchandising, and Production functions and overall Old Navy priorities. This position requires both strategic and tactical agility with a strong bias towards cross-functional collaboration and delivery.

Define and drive delivery of strategic operating model transformation initiatives in support of the overall Brand and Production team priorities. Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

What you'll do

  • Building transformation roadmaps

  • Facilitating operating model definitions

  • Developing required process changes

  • Defining business cases to support prioritization and investments

  • Establishing high level change management approaches

  • Leveraging project management frameworks to drive execution

  • Managing general communications and cross functional stakeholder engagem


Who you are

Required Skills:

  • Proven skills in framing / scoping opportunities into clear and executable initiatives, and delivering operational strategy initiatives - through consulting or industry experience

  • Understanding of apparel product creation processes, sourcing and logistics, apparel production

  • Ability to build, lead and develop a high performing team in a fast paced and complex environment

  • Demonstrated experience at working collaboratively with cross-functional global teams

  • Strong Project Management skills, coupled with Change Management awareness

  • Required skills include problem solving, critical thinking, conflict resolution, negotiation, business acumen, and strong verbal and written communication.
