Gap Inc.’s four purpose-led brands join the LGBTQ+ community in celebrating #PRIDEMonth and pledges its continuing support in annually donating and supporting organizations that help raise awareness on critical issues happening with the LGBTQ+ community and most recently, updating our healthcare and benefits offerings to provide increased coverage for Transgender care.
This year, our family of brands are continuing this work by celebrating PRIDE with our customers and giving back to the communities we're in, from bold prints to vibrant colors that allow our customers to be free to be their authentic selves.
Happy PRIDE Month, from all of us to all of you.

Banana Republic
Banana Republic has commissioned four LGBTQIA+ artists to create unique pieces incorporating vintage Banana Republic garments. These one-of-a-kind works of art will be exhibited in the windows of five key Banana Republic stores nationwide in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago, underscoring the brand's ongoing commitment to championing diversity, inclusivity and community.
The four artists—Serge Gay Jr., Andy Bellomo, Parisa Parnian, and Marcos Chin—use fashion as a form of expression, with style playing an important role in each artist’s life, both professionally and personally. Embracing vibrant colors, bold patterns and statement illustrations are a recurring theme for each uniquely crafted piece telling a story of resilience and resourcefulness. Banana Republic partnered with the four artists with the aim to inspire other LGBTQIA+ creatives, leveraging the brand’s platforms to amplify the artists’ work and stories.
In further support of the LGBTQIA+ community, Banana Republic is making a donation of $25K to The GenderCool Project, a youth-led organization aiming to replace misinformed opinions with positive experiences by featuring transgender and non-binary youth who are thriving.
