For the 11th year in a row, Gap Inc. received a 100-percent score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index (CEI) as one of the best places to work for LGBTQ equality. The Human Rights Campaign is the nation's largest LGBTQ civil-rights organization; annually, it rates 1,024 companies on how well they foster a non-discriminatory workplace. The survey measures LGBTQ practices and policies, such domestic-partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health-care benefits and public support of the LGBTQ community.

Gap Inc. continues receiving accolades for its efforts to recruit and retain a diverse workforce that includes not just race or gender, but sexual orientation.

“Despite having worked for other retailers, it is only at Gap Inc. have I found a company that wholeheartedly supports its LGBTQ community internally, as well as backed us on a national level,” said Banana Republic employee Barrie Kurinsky. “It makes a huge difference to work for a place that takes a stand on such causes for the inclusion of all its diverse employees."

Gap Inc.'s perfect score for the 11th year in a row is a testament to the company's core values and commitment to an inclusive environment, encouraging everyone to bring their whole selves to work. Tapping into true creativity means listening to diverse ideas from many voices to stay at the forefront of the fashion world.
