About the Role
The Senior Manager, Online Experience Strategy is responsible key strategic initiatives within the Online Experience team. This role will identify online growth opportunities where Old Navy Online can create a competitive advantage. Through diligent analysis, focus on our customers and competitors, strategic thinking and cross-functional partnership, this role will partner with the Online Experience and Ecommerce leadership to drive forward strategic projects. This position supports North America Online, inclusive of the US and Canada online P&L for the site and app with a mobile-first mentality.
What You'll Do
- Create strategic analyses to support senior leadership in making decisions around online business activities and new opportunities, utilizing insights from market trends, competitive benchmarking, consumer behaviors and financial metrics
- Translate complex and ambiguous ideas into clear, structure and compelling frameworks that provide direction for the online team.
- Create executive level presentations, strategy briefs and other communication materials that articulate strategic priorities and how they fit into Old Navy Online’s annual operating plan.
- Provide ad hoc problem solving and analytical support to address emerging opportunities and challenges.
- Develop recommended solutions around the required decision. Frame the issue to the key stakeholders and seeks to understand alternatives, clarify priorities, and deliver with rigor.
- Recruit and lead a team that will build out a business that is being scaled.
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and escalate key issues and decisions to senior leaders to maintain momentum and ensure timely resolution.
- Foster an environment of collaboration and acceptance that strengthens cross-functional relationships and ensures authentic relationships with colleagues.
Who You Are
- 8+ years professional experience in ecommerce, strategy, or consulting functions in DTC and/or Indirect Ecommerce business
- 5+ years Industry experience in CPG, FMCG, Beauty, Fashion, or Apparel verticals as part of a matrixed enterprise with $8B+ in annual revenue
- 3+ years of people manager experience and a proven track record of recruiting, developing and coaching team members
- Deep eCommerce/Online knowledge, able to advise on initiatives across web and app that inform leadership about strategic opportunities
- Ability to work independently and leverage large data sets to develop recommendations around the required decision, framing the issues to key stakeholders and seeking to understand alternatives and clarify priorities
- Demonstrated experience in improving online conversion rate, average unit retail, and revenue per visit
- Strong business acumen related to consumer facing businesses and ability to assess impact of decisions on overall business performance
- Demonstrated experience in getting key priorities supported through influence of cross-functional team

Salary Range: $132,300 - $175,300 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
