About the Role
This position is based in Erlanger, Kentucky. As a Sr. Analyst on the Outbound Network Strategy team, you’ll focus on the DC → 3PL → Store Delivery and DC → Consumer and Franchise networks. You’ll turn analysis into clear recommendations, build succinct decks that tell the story, and keep projects and reporting on‑track. Expect hands‑on modeling, practical problem solving in collaboration with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Tech/Analytics, and the Brand teams. Your work will help the company make smarter, faster decisions that balance service, speed, and cost.
What You'll Do
· Support outbound network strategy & modeling for pooler/3PL distribution, store delivery and general transportation network flows; leverage supply chain tools to frame options, run scenarios, and present recommendation with tradeoffs.
· Analyze cost and service KPIs that enable commercial plan success and drive margin optimization; maintain simple, accurate scorecards.
· Engineer supply‑chain solutions for brand growth initiatives—assessing risk, impact, resources, and data to recommend the best path forward.
· Build trusted partnerships with internal operating and brand teams to unlock creative, value‑adding solutions.
· Analyze ad hoc reporting across Global Transportation to address real‑time questions and decisions.
· Support Gap Inc. sustainability initiatives by maintaining accurate carrier reporting, models, and datasets (e.g., Scope 3 emissions, carrier compliance)
· Lead project management for outbound initiatives: build and maintain project plans, risk assessments and action/decision logs; run cross‑functional standups, clear blockers, and deliver crisp weekly status updates.
· Support SOP documentation (playbooks) and support continuous improvement to reduce dwell, variability, and cost‑to‑serve.
· Track industry trends (capacity, service, surcharges, regulatory) and summarize implications for the outbound network.
· Present insights in executive‑ready PowerPoint: problem → options → recommendation → impact.
Who You Are
· 3–5+ years in transportation/supply chain analytics, with exposure to outbound distribution, 3PL distribution, and/or DC‑to‑consumer networks; retail/e‑commerce a plus.
· Hands‑on modeling: Coupa Supply Chain Design & Planning (formerly LLamasoft) or equivalent network optimization tool experience preferred (we’ll support rapid Coupa ramp if needed).
· Analytics toolkit: Advanced Excel/Sheets; Power BI a plus.
· Project discipline: organize plans/milestones, manage dependencies, and communicate status clearly.
· Communication & storytelling: excellent written/verbal skills; able to turn analysis into a narrative that drives decisions.
· Collaboration: proven ability to partner cross-functionally and work autonomously
· Strategic mindsight and a passion for curiosity in continuous improvement
