About Gap

Gap has always been about optimistic American style. Starting with our very first store on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco, opened almost 50 years ago by Doris and Don Fisher. The thread that’s run through those five decades is the phenomenal people that make up our brand – our employees and our customers. People who are rooted in the legacy that makes Gap what it is, but who are also focused on the future. People who want to leave the world better than they found it.

We’ve built our brand on staying true to our roots while always being out in front of what’s next. If you want to be part of an iconic American brand, and help lead the way for where we’re headed, we’d love to have you join us.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the print, pattern identity for the Gap Factory, KB sleep business. You will create seasonal prints, and woven concepts using CAD systems to develop repeats, colorways, and scale variations of both purchased and original artwork. You will collaborate closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and cross-functional partners to deliver compelling, brand-right print assortments that support the seasonal vision and business objectives. A strong understanding of the Gap aesthetic and customer is essential to creating iconic, commercially successful concepts.

  • Stay current on print, textile, and CAD technology trends, incorporating new ideas and techniques where appropriate.
  • Research trend, vintage, and competitive inspiration to build compelling print and pattern concept boards.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork packages that meet technical requirements and provide clear recommendations to support business needs. Communicate creative concepts and technical information clearly and effectively with crossfunctional partners.
  • Partner with Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Production, and Legal throughout the development process, including artwork approvals and print strike-off comments to ensure quality and execution.
  • Independently prioritize workload while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate Gap Inc.'s Winning Together Leads Better (WTLB) values while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
