About the Role
We are storytellers. We inform, inspire and unify our cross functional teams and business partners across multiple geographies. The Communications & Engagement team is responsible for driving an internal and external communications strategy to protect and grow brand reputation across all channels. The team drives employee engagement and organization culture, leadership and business messaging for our global Sourcing offices, and external communications to a complex global network of suppliers and industry peers. As a part of this team, this role will focus on supporting the Head of Sourcing (located in Hong Kong) to support our global Sourcing offices, working closely with HR and functional leaders to connect our teams around the world. This role will work across teams in multiple locations to collaborate on listening and engagement strategies (including advocating for E&B and CSR activities) that will build meaningful relationships with stakeholders and drive communications plans against key initiatives. The role reports into the Head of Supply Chain Communications.
What You'll Do
- Build and execute a communications strategy for Sourcing that aligns with the Gap Inc. Supply Chain messaging collaborating closely with business partners across the team
- Support major meetings and internal events to bring the Global Sourcing story to life for employees across functions & geographies and engage them.
- Craft simple, impactful messaging to ensure employees stay connected – collaborating with HR & functions to ensure appropriate content development and storytelling
- Manage and maintain a variety of communications platforms to interact with employees
- Own relationships with key business stakeholders to proactively share Sourcing (and APAC) stories with the enterprise
- Ensures effective coordination with HQ teams on related communications and programs, including CSR, cultural and Foundation-related initiatives, and act as a ‘gatekeeper’ across all Sourcing offices to ensure local messages, events and activations are appropriately Gap Inc. branded and themed.
- Coordinate with Hong Kong BCP commander to send critical timely messaging on events (like typhoons, bird-flu outbreaks, etc.) to keep employees safe and healthy

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in corporate communications for a multinational organization
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail and proven track record of working in a cross-functional communications environment
- Demonstrated agility with juggling multiple projects under deadline, optimizing resources and self-prioritizing work
- A successful candidate is highly collaborative, inclusive, creative and flexible, with the ability to be discreet
- Experience defining KPIs, managing reporting and showcasing data-driven results
- Demonstrable project management skills, including ability to manage several initiatives/events at once, prioritize, work under tight deadlines and pressure and deliver results
- Excellent written, verbal and advisory skills and understanding of and experience using traditional and digital communications tools
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications or related field a plus

Salary Range: $119,500 - $155,300 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
