About the Role
Gap Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Events to lead the planning, production, and execution of our most meaningful internal moments. This role owns end-to-end of select corporate and employee events—ensuring they are executed seamlessly, feel intentional and inclusive, and reinforce our culture and values.
Operating within the Global Brand Experience team, this role works in close partnership with our Creative and Experiential leads to bring creative direction to life through polished, well-run experiences. You will own top tier internal events, build playbooks to scale globally, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure messaging, flow, and execution align to company priorities and creative brand standards.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a strong operator who brings calm leadership, precision, and a deep understanding of how live moments shape employee experience.
What You'll Do
Internal Events Leadership & Execution
- Own operational event management and leadership for select Tier 1 and Tier 2 employee events, including Town Halls, All Hands, Q&As, panels, and culture-driven experiences.
- Lead planning, production, and execution of select brand employee events in partnership with Creative and Experiential teams.
- Provide a collaborative POV on creative, experiential, agency and entertainment partnerships rooted in a culture-shaping growth mindset.
- Work in deep partnership with lead producers and show-callers for live, hybrid, and virtual events, ensuring strong pacing, clarity, and execution.
- Manage internal events strategy and playbooks to properly scale and execute events across all hubs globally and in deep partnership with internal comms and global comms leads.
Event Operations & Program Ownership
- Own the end-to-end event lifecycle—from intake and planning through run-of-show, rehearsals, live execution, and post-event wrap.
- Maintain internal events calendar and key milestones, partnering with cross-functional teams to align timing and priorities.
- Establish and evolve repeatable processes, templates, and playbooks that support consistency, quality, and scale.
- Work closely with the workplace experience and corporate operations team on proper work orders and clearly guide proper roles and responsibilities with internal partner support.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Creative Director and Experiential Producer to execute approved creative and experiential direction.
- Collaborate closely with global teams including Internal Communications, People, Workplace Experience, and AV teams to align messaging, content, and production flow.
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for internal stakeholders throughout the event process.
- Serve as a trusted event leader for corporate partners including Inclusion & Belonging, Government Affairs, Technology & Innovation, and more.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage event budgets and track costs across internal programs.
- Source, manage, and oversee internal operational partners and external vendors including AV, staging, fabrication, entertainment, and catering partners.
- Ensure all production elements meet brand standards, safety requirements, and workplace guidelines.
Team Enablement & Continuous Improvement
- Guide and support junior team members, freelance event managers, and production partners.
- Lead post-mortems and apply learnings to improve future events.
- Contribute to quarterly planning and the ongoing evolution of internal events strategy and operations.
Who You Are
- 7–10+ years of experience producing internal events, live programs, or large-scale experiences in corporate or brand environments.
- A highly organized, detail-driven operator with strong live-event instincts and calm leadership under pressure.
- Experienced show caller with confidence managing executives, speakers, and complex run-of-show environments.
- Strong collaborator who understands how to partner globally across regions and with Creative and Experiential teams without duplicating scope.
- Clear communicator with excellent stakeholder management and vendor negotiation skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with an open-mindset.

Salary Range: $149,900 - $194,900 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
