About the Role
Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities with short- and long-term business results across the division and department. Monitors performance vs. plan and forecast to executes prudent exceptions outside of plan analytics and forecast logic. Makes flexible and responsive inventory recommendations and executes swiftly based on insights from customer, product, market, and financial data. Utilize various tops-down and bottoms-up forecasts, inventory rebalancing, and pricing processes to act on hits and misses to maximize business results. Create monthly Financial Forecast to reposition sales trend and inventory actions. Recommend pricing strategies to maximize yield management to exceed set goals. Identify Marketing opportunities based on inventory ownership. Manage Vendor Manage Inventory Product thru strong collaboration across multiple functions. Create preseason sales, gross margin, and inventory for category and identify opportunity in every style and channel. Presents financial strategies to drive sales growth. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of cross functional team (Merchandising, Visual, Production, Distribution, Planning and Company Planning), setting expectations around prioritization and best practices around key deliverables.
Salary Range: $87,420 - $131,700
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
What You'll Do
1. Data Analytics: Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by division and department;
2. Asset Management: Reconciliation of Receipts, Tops/Down Bottoms Up Plans, and assistance in Vendor Managed Inventory;
3. Checkbook, Planning and Forecasting Tools, Krypton, PETE GPR
4. Retail math, business acumen and understanding of supply chain management;
5. Financial Forecast to build Long Range Budget Plans using MFP in Anaplan;
6. Forecasting skills with ability to connect inventory needs, historical sales, and market trends;
7. Organization skills to manage multiple deliverables;
8. Microsoft Excel and NOVA with ability to analyze large data sets and draw presentable conclusions
9. Knowledge of the following systems: Anaplan, Enterprise Planning, PETE Applications (Assortment, Planning, Pricing and Forecasting), PowerBi, MicroStrategy, Adobe Analytics, PowerReviews, EDW, Essbase, E2Open, MIRO and other web-based data services.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field and three (3) years of experience in retail merchandise planning.
