About the Role

Lead significant projects and define technical specifications and development requirements that result in high performing technology that are also domain specific. Develop and enhance product and/or applications independently to solve complex business problems by keeping customer experience at the forefront. Adopt and model a DevOps mindset by applying automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery in everything we do. Foster innovation by applying best practices and learning from emerging technologies and through collaboration with cross functional stakeholders. Communicate difficult concepts and lead teams through design and interpretation. Mentor and subject matter expert in support of domain areas, leading assignments of diverse scope. Balances project delivery objectives with organizational initiatives. Telecommuting permissible from any location within US.

Salary Range: $206,315 - $226,900
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Using Agile practises of iterative planning, development progression, evaluation using JIRA;
  • Translating business requirements into logical specifications;
  • Designing and building scalable Java and Springboot applications and microservices having REST API architecture design;
  • Building, deploying, and supporting cloud native scalable applications in Microsoft Azure;
  • Utilizing Microsoft Azure Cloud platform to write, maintain, monitor, and execute pipeline operations;
  • Composing Python to integrate analytics and leverage data science inputs;
  • Writing SQL queries to save data in backend SQL relational and Mongo non-relational databases;
  • Writing complex SQL to query existing data;
  • Using Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins to deploy and test software functionality; and
  • DevOps monitoring and debugging of applications using docker and Jenkins.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Software Engineering or related role or job offered.
