About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Manager of Logistics to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the construction and opening of new and remodeled retail stores by managing the transportation and timely delivery of Owner Furnished Items and Visual Merchandising Fixtures.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee end to end transportation logistics for all Owner Furnished Items, Owner supplied construction materials and Visual Merchandising Fixtures to support all construction projects.  Annual project count is 300-500 projects per year. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Logistics, the Director of Procurement and Business Partners to align logistics strategies with project timelines and procurement goals
  • Understand all project timelines, assess all schedules to ensure critical items are expedited to meet project schedules
  • Expedite critical fixture shipments to ensure timely store openings and mitigate delays
  • Coordinate with third party carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit risks
  • Monitor and track shipments proactively resolving issues related to delays, damages, or misrouting
  • Maintain detailed records of shipments, delivery schedules, and inventory movement to support projects
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including construction and store operations teams to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Ability to address customs issues and resolve with our customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of fixtures into Canada
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes, including cost reduction, efficiency gains and vendor performance

Who You Are

  • Over 10 years of experience in the transportation/logistics industry
  • Proficiency in Xcel, Smartsheet, Adobe, Outlook
  • Must be a self motivated individual, able to clearly communicate with all levels of leadership
  • Able to manage multiple vendors and carriers, while calmly managing schedules with business partners

Salary Range: $101,800 - $144,200 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
