About the Role

The Regional Visual Manager (LATAM) plays a key role in driving the overall Gap Inc. franchise and wholesale business across the Americas, from existing and new partners, alongside the cross-functional regional teams. Latin America is Gap Inc’s largest revenue-driving and fastest-growing region globally and this role is pivotal in sustaining ‘bread and butter’ financial performance across the region, supporting 6x brands and up to 12x partners.

As brand guardian across all four Gap Inc. brands, the role will be focused on leading the international store experience strategy for Latin America and is responsible for the direct management of select franchise accounts. The RVM is responsible for coaching franchise partners to deliver locally relevant visual merchandising strategies that meet global brand standards, applying strategic commercial tactics that drive in-season product performance and financial goals across all retail channels.
The successful candidate will have proven experience and a track record in managing the seasonal end-to-end product lifecycle process with extensive experience in managing commercial visual merchandising strategies, with knowledge in store design and managing new store openings. The RVM is accountable for driving brand relevance and revenue across all customer touchpoints to deliver a seamless omni customer journey and experience for Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic and Athleta brick-and-mortar stores.

As well as protecting the integrity of our brands across the region, this role is also responsible for managing the wholesale showroom setup strategy across all brands, driving creative excellence, team collaboration, and blue-sky thinking to deliver elevated showroom experiences for live market week buying events across NYC and San Francisco 4x a year.

What You'll Do

  • Manage Gap Inc’s largest and fastest-growing, high-profile partners, driving brand relevance and revenue across multi-channel businesses in these markets
  • Define annual and seasonal Visual Merchandising strategies to fuel regional business growth objectives and support cross-functional strategic alignment
  • Provide seasonal VM direction to Franchise partners to support seasonal launches across all brands using window mockups, floor plans and instore marketing investment strategies to drive local brand relevance across each market
  • Support the Senior Visual Manager by delivering functional service level and project work, in line with business and partner priorities, with ability to prioritize high value work.
  • Plan and deliver seasonal VM strategies in line with the global brand’s, franchise partner’s, regional, and business objectives
  • Influence in-season management strategies, providing visual solutions throughout the product lifecycle process to improve financial and KPI performance
  • Analyze key KPI goals, how key markets are performing to targets, with the ability to put commercial plans in place to achieve and improve results in areas of influence
  • Validate, develop, and launch new store points of distribution which meet VM capacity and tiering targets in partnership with Store Design for all brands
  • Partner closely and effectively with key internal stakeholders and Gap Inc. cross-functional peers: Store Design, Marketing, Creative, Account Management, L&D, Product, Planning, Logistics and Finance
  • Build effective partnerships with multiple external Franchise partner teams e.g., VM, Marketing, Store Design, Product, Sales, influencing strategic decision-making and execution in line with the global brand vision

Who You Are

  • Extensive visual merchandising and corporate showroom setup experience with ability to make strategic investment and planning decisions to drive maximum ROI
  • Operation of multi-brands within multi-channel environments is ideal
  • Solid Latin America territory knowledge i.e. retail landscape, customer mindset and market sensitivities with proven evidence of tailoring VM strategies to meet local customer needs
  • Experience of working within a franchise / international structure and strong business acumen is essential; the role demands solid understanding of how functional practices and procedures integrate with and impact matrix functions and overall business goals
  • Ability to effectively influence and motivate at all levels of the organization both internally and externally with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented with proven accuracy through self-motivation, accountability and strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • A “can-do” attitude, strong collaborator and excels in building relationships as part of an extended cross-functional, remote team
  • Excellent project management, planning & organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Fluent in Spanish language is essential

Salary Range: $103,500 - $137,100 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
