About the Role

As the Site Merchandising Coordinator, you’ll help bring Athleta’s brand and product storytelling to life across our digital channels. You’ll partner closely with Digital Merchandising, Website Production, and Marketing teams to execute category updates, optimize site navigation, and create a seamless, inspiring customer experience that supports commercial goals.

What You'll Do

  • Drive site execution and act as the liaison between Digital Merchandising, Production, and Marketing to deliver an exceptional online shopping experience that meets or exceeds financial goals.
  • Manage the product launch process, maintaining accurate records of all cc’s, imagery, copy, and approvals
  • Optimize the website daily, updating sorting and pinning, manage category setup, monitor site for product gaps, and optimize product order based on business priorities and performance data.
  • Support QA across site, email, and product to ensure optimized customer journeys and intended site experiences
  • Support category storytelling by helping to plan and execute the seasonal vision for navigation, product placement, and on-site presentation.
  • Monitor competitive activity and customer trends to inform site strategy and highlighting new opportunities for content, product, navigation and storytelling. Present and share back to full team to drive action.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather inputs, understand priorities, and ensure flawless site execution.
  • Manage structured ad-hoc assignments and priorities, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy across all site updates.

Who You Are

  • Passionate about the customer, brand, and digital shopping experience.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and confident communicator — able to influence partners and tell a compelling story with data.
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented, with a track record of partnering across creative, merchandising, and production teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office; comfortable learning new systems and tools quickly.
  • Analytical and curious — able to recognize inconsistencies in data and proactively identify solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Merchandising, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, or marketing preferred.
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS), analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), or product recommendation tools is a plus.
