About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Conduct proactive mobile and foot patrols of buildings, parking lots, and perimeters to deter and detect safety or security risks.

Operate and monitor security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, mobile phones, and radio communications.

Oversee building access and credentialing, verifying employee, contractor, and visitor authorization.

Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing professional assistance and coordination with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and emergency services.

Conduct inspections of entry points, emergency exits, and restricted areas to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.

Document patrol activity, observations, and incidents through detailed, timely written and digital reports and shift logs.

Maintain regular communication with the Security Shift Supervisor and GSOC regarding all incidents or unusual activity.

Participate in emergency response drills, safety training, and briefings to maintain readiness and compliance.

Care for assigned patrol vehicles and issued equipment, including daily inspections, cleaning, and ensuring functionality.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a visible and approachable security presence, ensuring the safety of employees, guests, and vendors. 
  • Provide exceptional customer engagement, assisting with inquiries, and supporting access procedures. 
  • Monitor and patrol designated zones to deter theft, vandalism, or safety hazards. 
  • Respond to medical, fire, and security incidents following established emergency response protocols. 
  • Coordinate directly with GSOC, internal security teams, and emergency responders during critical events. 
  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to continuous improvement of emergency plans and security protocols. 
  • Support event and visitor operations, maintaining balance between hospitality and protective measures. 
  • Report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues that could impact the safety of employees or guests. 
  • Participate in training sessions, policy reviews, and readiness exercises to maintain operational excellence. 

Who You Are

  • At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. 
  • Minimum 3 years of professional security experience, ideally in a corporate or high-security setting. 
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. 
  • Able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening. 
  • Experienced in access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and incident management software. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of producing accurate reports and documentation. 
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods and respond swiftly in emergencies. 
  • Willing to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. 
  • Holds or is willing to obtain certifications such as CPR/AED, First Aid, or AVIRT/Active Threat Response. 
  • Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Hourly Range: $23.10 - $28.80 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
