About the Role

The Assistant Project Lead, Commercial Impact supports the Store Operations team in driving consistent and effective execution of the Commercial Plan across all Gap Specialty and Gap Outlet stores. This role develops and delivers communications, tools, and resources that enable seamless field execution and operational readiness. The role partners closely with field teams and cross-functional and cross-channel business partners to coordinate, communicate, and execute promotional activity, as well as product and pricing tests within stores. Additionally, the role synthesizes field feedback to identify opportunities and support continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Support development of standardized processes and tools to support seamless execution of the Commercial Plan and product & pricing testing.
  • Create and implement all store communication associated with customer experience, promotions, pricing, code creation and testing directions.
  • Assess promotional-related marketing collateral to ensure the overall aesthetic and clarity of message meets brand standards.
  • Compile and provide hindsight on service programs, promotions, and pricing testing to positively influence future strategies.
  • Attend company-led studio and in-store walkthroughs to act as an advocate for stores and influence promotional strategy and signage placement.
  • Conduct independent store visits monthly to gain feedback from store teams and field Leaders to better understand customer shopping habits and identify opportunities and potential solutions.
  • Understand competitor activity and any in-store customer friction points to better collaborate with cross functional business partners and make recommendations for future improvements.
  • Collaborate with customer experience teams – including Commercial Planning, Loyalty & Payments, Customer Insights and use data to help drive field strategies.

  • Retail Stores experience preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Salary Range: $62,200 - $77,700 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
