About the Role
Gap Inc. is growing its Digital Optimization team — a program designed to evolve rapidly, stay rooted in customer experience, and deliver invaluable insights that directly shape our business strategy and drive meaningful financial impact.
As part of our Global Technology Solutions (GTS) organization, you’ll serve all of Gap Inc.’s iconic brands: Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Athleta, supporting a platform that powers over $6B in e-commerce sales and contributes to a $15B retail business. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how experimentation operates at scale while delivering smarter, faster, and more personalized digital experiences to millions of customers.
We’re looking for an Agile Lead who thrives at the intersection of digital strategy, process, and product delivery. This role is equal parts strategic operator and process driver — owning how work gets done while helping shape what work matters most. You’ll partner with business, design, and tech leaders to translate strategy into actionable, prioritized deliverables, while keeping cross-functional teams organized, accountable, and moving with urgency.
You’ll be embedded in a rapid experimentation team — a nimble, insights-driven team responsible for testing bold ideas, validating new concepts, and informing the future of our brand’s digital strategy. This team moves fast, learns constantly, and turns results into action. The Agile Lead is the operational heartbeat and strategic partner that makes sure it all runs cleanly and delivers meaningful outcomes. Your job is to make strategy actionable, process efficient, and results visible — keeping marketing, product, and business stakeholders aligned, accountable, and moving with purpose. You’ll be the voice driving momentum forward, ensuring progress is clear, roadblocks are cleared, and wins are amplified.
What You'll Do
- Translate strategic input and brand priorities into tactical, actionable plans for the testing team. Ensure the right work gets done at the right time, for the right reasons.
- Drive testing process and discipline — ensuring every meeting ends with clear owners, deadlines, and next steps. Keep everyone accountable and nothing slips through the cracks.
- Own and lead agile ceremonies — standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, working sessions, and leadership reviews.
- Facilitate prioritization conversations that balance marketing, tech, and experimentation needs — providing clarity for all stakeholders.
- Track, manage, and optimize Airtable workflows — from sprint deliverables to dashboards, roadmaps, and OKR progress reports. You’ll be the Airtable boss.
- Partner closely with brand strategy, marketing, and product leads to align on priorities, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum.
- Own and track experimentation OKRs, collaborating with brand stakeholders and regularly reporting out on progress, learnings, and outcomes.
- Be the coach and driver for your experiment team — ensuring energy stays high, accountability stays sharp, and the team moves with focus and clarity.
- Act as the connective tissue between front-end, back-end, and business teams, ensuring transparent communication and seamless handoffs.
- Manage the end-to-end testing process: prioritization, delivery, results activation, and feedback loops.
- Translate complex program updates and experimentation results into crisp, executive-ready summaries with clear business implications and next steps.
Who You Are
- Passionate about turning strategy into action and making calm out of chaos.
- An expert communicator — able to quickly distill information for both practitioners and senior leaders.
- Naturally energized, highly organized, and relentlessly accountable. You keep the team productive, focused, and outcomes-driven.
- Adept at balancing competing priorities, facilitating tough conversations, and driving alignment in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Deeply experienced with front-end, back-end, and A/B testing ecosystems in e-commerce or similar digital-first organizations.
- A prioritization pro — you know how to land decisions and move work forward.
- Airtable-savvy (or ready to learn fast) and comfortable running detailed workflows, dashboards, and OKR reporting.
- Strategic by nature, operational by discipline — you see the big picture but know that details are where momentum lives.
- Comfortable owning OKRs, tracking impact, and keeping business outcomes front and center in every conversation.
