About the Role

The PM, Employee Engagement & Field Events is responsible for motivating and inspiring field teams through the creation and execution of engagement programs that support the employee experience including contests, rewards, and recognition programs for Athleta stores. This role also oversees all field events, conferences and virtual meetings to engage, develop, and build culture in the field.
This role will interact with cross functional and cross channel business partners to influence key business partners across all functions and channels and represents the voice of the field in all interaction.

What You'll Do

Builds strong cross-functional partnerships at all levels with Store Operations, Store Leadership Teams, Upper Field Leaders, Learning & Development (L&D), Communications and Human Resources amongst others. Represents Stores and Store Operations with other business partners; acts as an advocate for Stores.

  • Manage in store execution of employee initiatives through effective programs, tools and resources that are relevant, engaging and inspiring for field employees. This includes execution of community-based, volunteer initiatives in partnership with E&B and other HQ business partners.
  • Develop and influence Reward & Recognition programs through effective timelines, communication (includes execution of Gap Inc. Programs).
  • Accountable for the creation, design, and execution of employee contests and incentives programs
  • Partner and consult with L&D on any field employee training programs that tie back to performance (i.e. Associate Onboarding, Expert training).
  • Manage all aspects of field event production, inclusive of concepting, agenda creation, planning, logistics, budget management, platform/technology support & post event follow through activities
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Events Team on event planning execution (includes travel, budgets, logistics etc.) and L&D for content development
  • Solicit field feedback and collaborate with Field and HQ teams to determine opportunities for process improvement and potential solutions.
  • Oversee and execute all store communication for employee engagement initiatives and field events
  • Analyze competitors to enable best in class programs
  • Support other retail operations projects or brand specific strategic initiatives as needed

  • Strong proven track record of Project Management
  • Retail Stores experience preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
