About the role

The Manager of L&D is responsible for the creation and execution of learning and development programs for the Contact Center, including 3rd party. The Manager partners within the HR function, L&D business partners, Operations, and business leaders across support functions to design programs and experiences that develop key capabilities to support campus and functional strategies. The Manager is responsible for leading and developing the L&D who support the campuses/functional Global Logistics network.

What you'll do

  • Partners with Sr. Mgr.to design, develop and execute learning programs for the Contact Centers.

  • Participates in the following leadership teams: Global Logistics HR, GSC Talent Management, Global Logistics L&D, and the Operations Leadership Team.

  • The Manager of L&D faces the complexity of leading the learning programs for multiple grade level of employees across various functions.

  • This role will adapt to new ways of working, problem solve, take initiative to drive results, improve collaboration, effectiveness and efficiency in learning programs.

  • Develop differentiating strategies with specific functional needs assessments and providing tailored solutions is especially important to provide positive business results for the organization.

This role is responsible for representing Global Logistics L&D by leading and exemplifying What Great Looks Like by: Being Customer Curious, Creating with Audacity, and Doing the Right Thing in a fast-moving and team-oriented environment.

  • Can operate in a highly dynamic, matrixed environment with multiple competing priorities

  • Understands and uses relationships to drive effective collaboration with peers and stakeholders

  • Proven ability to facilitate small and large training sessions (live and remotely) and experience with various learning technologies

  • Can create system of implementation that converts strategies into tangible operating results and ensures optimum utilization of all available resources

  • Demonstrated curiosity and ability to deliver with speed and continuous iteration to quality
