About the role
The Senior Transportation Systems Analyst in Gap Global Transportation will support business application configuration and maintenance, identify and communicate application usage best practices, and support transportation-related system project initiatives. As a member of the Transportation Systems team, you will become a transportation business applications expert and work closely with operational teams, Product Management, external software providers, and Gap Tech to improve and modernize our systems.
What you'll do
Quickly and accurately adjust system configuration to support operational needs.
Build and maintain systems documentation.
Partner with Transportation’s operational teams to support business initiatives.
Partner with Product Management and GAP Tech to lead and influence system requirements that support operational needs.
Establish relationships with key external software providers to represent the business in system implementations.
Partner with vendors and Gap Tech to support EDI testing and onboarding; partner with Gap Tech to support UAT testing.
Support of transportation reporting and data analytics.
Who you are
Innovative and inquisitive, a creative problem solver
Experience with complex system integrations and dependencies
Ability to work independently and lead work across various teams
Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to all levels of the organization
Strong MS skills with advanced proficiency in Access and Excel
Strong understanding of system integrations and data relationships
Familiarity with XML and X12 formats
3+ years of work experience required, with at least 2 years in Supply Chain and 2 years in systems preferred.
