Our Delivery Promise to You
To meet our delivery promise to customers this holiday season, our teams have been working closely with our parcel partners for months to prepare for the heightened e-commerce demand during this unique holiday season. Thanks to the trust and transparency of our partners, we’ve been able to build a strategy with capacity constraints in mind leveraging our full network of carriers in order to meet our customers wherever they want to shop. Part of that strategic plan includes dynamically pausing store pickups – a move that allows us to manage capacity limits and meet customer expectations.
And we’re happy to report that the plan is working.
“For months, we knew that shipping capacity would be an important factor this holiday peak season, and thanks to the collaboration of our teams and our parcel carriers, we have been executing on our strategic plans exceedingly well,” said Shawn Curran Chief Operating Officer at Gap Inc. “Our on-time delivery performance continues to be strong and our collective teams are maniacally focused on ensuring our customers have a great experience this holiday season.”
