Janie and Jack

October 16, 2019

Today, children’s fashion brand, Janie and Jack, launches its first-ever Family Dog collection with exclusive matching looks for dogs. To celebrate the launch and in honor of National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, the brand is partnering with Mom Brain podcast co-host, author and dog lover, Hilaria Baldwin, dog influencer and photographer, The Dogist, and model, dog adoption advocate and founder of Mother of Dogs, Allie Rizzo to raise funds for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). According to the ASPCA, each year approximately 5.3 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide. Customers are invited to join the cause by sharing a family photo with their dog to either Facebook or Instagram, including the hashtag #jjdogsweepstakes or to janieandjack.com/dogsweepstakes. Janie and Jack will donate $1 for every image shared, up to $50,000, to the ASPCA. Customers will also be automatically entered for a chance to win a $1,000 Janie and Jack gift card as a thank you for participating.

“With the holidays upon us, we are excited to invite one of our favorite family members—our dogs—to be part of our family moments,” said Shelly Walsh, SVP and General Manager, Janie and Jack. “We saw an opportunity to give back while celebrating dogs, and we are true believers in what the ASPCA does to place animals in safe and loving homes. We chose partners with passion projects for animal support that align with the ASPCA’s mission and through this special collection for our furry friends, we hope to bring the entire family together to share some heartwarming photos and make lifelong memories."

Every photo shared to raise awareness to National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month will also automatically be entered to win a $1,000 Janie and Jack gift card with three winners chosen at random. Visit janieandjack.com/dogsweepstakesrules for further details and sweepstake rules. In addition to posting family photos to raise awareness, customers can donate to the ASPCA while checking out at any Janie and Jack store nationwide or online at janieandjack.com. The donation and submission period begins today, October 15th, and lasts through October 31st.

“We are thrilled to be working with Janie and Jack to raise awareness for Adopt a Shelter Dog Month,” said Rebecca Frommer, Director of Cause Partnerships at the ASPCA. “These generous donations from Janie and Jack will support the ASPCA’s lifesaving work to help animals in need across the country, such as the millions of adoptable dogs who are looking for loving homes.”
