Gap Inc. announced today the appointment of Alegra O’Hare as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Gap brand. O’Hare joins the company on February 25 and will report to Neil Fiske, President and Chief Executive Officer of Gap brand.
“Alegra has extensive experience leading a major brand through a creative turnaround and in inspiring engagement with consumers in new ways. I’m excited to bring on a marketing innovator to lead our brand building efforts as we focus on renewing and strengthening Gap brand.”
O’Hare joins Gap brand from adidas where she was vice president of Global Brand Communications for adidas Originals and Style. O’Hare is responsible for the 2017 Cannes Lions Grand Prix, award-winning adidas Originals campaign “Original is Never Finished.” In 2017, she was given the Brand Genius award by AdWeek and named one of the 50 most innovative CMOs in the world by Business Insider. Prior to joining adidas in 2007, O’Hare held positions at VF Corporation, Bang & Olufsen and Sara Lee Corporation.
