BRIGHT Rewards Program Passes 1 Million Members and Expands to California

BRIGHT Rewards, Gap Inc.’s new customer loyalty program that launched in select markets in 2017, has now surpassed over 1 million members. This milestone comes as the program expands its pilot to include all Gap Inc. brands in California.
As of July 25th, Athleta, Banana Republic, Banana Republic Factory, Gap, Gap Factory, and Old Navy stores in California have joined BRIGHT Rewards, which launched in Atlanta and Dallas/Fort Worth last year. It provides Gap Inc. with another way to reward our customers in addition to our credit card program, and allows customers who may not yet be ready for a credit card to start acquiring points toward future purchase at any our brands.
Since the launch of BRIGHT Rewards in October, Gap Inc. is focused on engaging with these loyal customers in new ways, and deepening their connection with our brands. Since we know that customers who shop across our brands are 10x more valuable than “one and done” shoppers, growing our BRIGHT Rewards program is a great way for Gap Inc. to encourage that multi-channel, multi-brand engagement.
