Statement on the Recent Tragedy in Orlando, Florida

On behalf of Gap Inc.’s 140,000 employees around the world, our hearts go out to all those affected by the tragedy in Orlando last weekend. For more than 45 years, Gap Inc. has stood for equality for all, and we believe that our business succeeds when everyone has the chance to stand as equals and thrive.

In response to the horrific act of violence against the LGBTQ community in Orlando, Gap Inc. is giving a $50,000 grant to The Center in Orlando, Florida. The Center is offering counseling and resources to anyone affected by the tragedy as well as funds directly to victims and their families. The company is also matching employee donations to The Center of $25 or more.
