SAN FRANCISCO, December 6, 2010 – After sorting through an unprecedented one million adorable children showing off their “good jeans,” today Gap revealed the 20 charismatic finalists competing to be the next faces of babyGap and GapKids.

Starting today through December 20, it is up to America to decide which four children – one girl and one boy for babyGap and one girl and one boy for GapKids – will be featured in store windows nationwide and receive a $1,000 Gap GiftCard. Voters can cast their votes by logging on to gap.com/castingcall or by downloading the free Gap Casting Call iPhone app. Voters can cast their votes once a day and with each vote cast will be entered for a chance to win the Voter's Sweepstakes, a $1,000 Gap GiftCard.

“Our Casting Call contest continues to break records and this year is no exception with more than one million entries,” said Mark Breitbard, executive vice president of babyGap and GapKids. “Since denim is the heart and soul of American fashion and culture, this year we asked parents to submit photos of their children in their favorite jeans. With so many ‘good jeans’ to choose from, it was extremely difficult to select only 20 finalists to represent our brand.”

 Meet the Finalists:

In November, all 20 finalists got a preview of life in the spotlight when Gap flew them to San Francisco to participate in a professional photo shoot with world-renowned child photographer, Stefano Azario. Voters can check out the photos and behind-the-scenes footage from the photo shoot at gap.com/castingcall.

Baby Girls:

Julianna, from Lancaster, TX, lights up a room with her bubbly and outgoing personality. She loves to laugh, sing and give hugs. When Julianna isn’t playing with her brother’s toy truck collection, you can find her marching around the house with her trusty fairy wand calling herself the “princess king.”

Malia, from Yorba Linda, CA, could be mistaken for a Dora the Explorer doppelganger. She is spontaneous, bright, witty and determined to keep up with her older brothers. This funny girl likes to sing and dance around the house and has a knack for doling out great advice to others.

When Gray isn’t beating his dad at chess, you can find him playing video games and football with his brother and neighbors.

Davian, from Lakewood Ranch, FL, is a sunglasses-wearing cool kid who takes Taekwondo and is learning to play the piano. When he isn’t playing video games with his brother, it’s safe to say that Davian is outside hanging at the beach, pool or park.
