About the Role

The Office of AI at Gap Inc. is seeking a Manager, Strategy (Tech Platform & Enterprise Employee Enablement) to lead initiatives that empower our employees across all brands—Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta—to leverage AI at scale. This role focuses on building enterprise-wide platform capabilities and tools that enable teams across functions—from merchandising to marketing, supply chain to store operations—to unlock the power of AI in their daily work.

You’ll collaborate closely with technology, data, product, and functional leadership to identify high-impact platform opportunities, design scalable solutions, and guide these capabilities from concept to adoption. This is not a consumer-facing role, but one that ensures our internal teams have the AI-enabled infrastructure, integrations, and processes needed to drive operational excellence and innovation from within.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the discovery and definition of enterprise-level AI platform capabilities that serve employees across all Gap Inc. brands and functions
  • Evaluate and prioritize enabling technologies (e.g., GenAI services, workflow automation, enterprise search, data integration platforms) that can be embedded into employee workflows
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope and implement platform pilots that address cross-functional needs and scale successfully across the enterprise
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of test-and-learn initiatives, ensuring clear objectives, success metrics, and adoption plans
  • Partner with technology, data, and business leaders to ensure platform capabilities integrate seamlessly into core systems and processes
  • Develop business cases and communicate platform value and adoption impact to executive and functional stakeholders

Who You Are

  • 4–7 years of experience in technology strategy, enterprise platforms, digital enablement, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems and how platform capabilities drive organizational efficiency
  • Experience identifying, designing, and delivering technology solutions that serve diverse internal stakeholders
  • Proven skills in cross-functional program management, stakeholder alignment, and business case development
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to bridge technical concepts and business value
  • Passionate about empowering employees through technology and unlocking the potential of AI across the enterprise

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI and automation use cases in enterprise environments (e.g., intelligent search, document automation, decision-support tools)
  • Experience with platform services, enterprise SaaS integrations, or internal tool development
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery practices and experience leading multi-disciplinary teams

Benefits at Gap Inc.

  • Merchandise discount for our brands: 50% off regular-priced merchandise at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta, and 30% off at Outlet for all employees.
  • One of the most competitive Paid Time Off plans in the industry.*
  • Employees can take up to five “on the clock” hours each month to volunteer at a charity of their choice.*
  • Extensive 401(k) plan with company matching for contributions up to four percent of an employee’s base pay.*
