Capability Building

In partnership with suppliers, employees, NGOs, industry associations, investors and communities — our programs work to improve worker representation. We address issues such as workplace cooperation, supervisory skills and gender-based violence. We also support our facilities with environmental capability-building programs.

Purchasing Practices

We are improving our purchasing practices to help reduce issues in the supply chain including excessive overtime and to support compliance with responsible labor practices and the protection of human rights in the supply chain.

Our Human Rights Policies

Our holistic approach begins with our Human Rights Policy and Code of Vendor Conduct (COVC). Both are based on internationally accepted labor standards and guidance, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights, the UN Global Compact (UNGC), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Core Conventions. Our policies also account for labor laws in each country where we do business.
