About the Role
The Manager, Philanthropy & Corporate Giving supports the operational management and strategic execution of Gap Inc.’s philanthropic initiatives, with a focus on administration of grant programs, Gap Foundation and corporate philanthropy governance, product donation management, and enterprise-wide reporting and analytics. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Philanthropy & Corporate Giving, this role helps ensure philanthropic programs are efficient, compliant, data-driven, and aligned with business and community impact goals.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and collaborative, with experience managing complex programs, reporting processes, and cross-functional partnerships. This role also requires an interest in leveraging technology and AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiency and reporting.
What You'll Do
• Manage day-to-day administration of corporate and foundation grant programs,
including application intake, due diligence, payment processing, reporting, and
recordkeeping.
• Maintain grant calendars, workflows, databases, and reporting systems to
support efficient and compliant operations.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax, and external nonprofit partners to support grant
processing and compliance.
• Track grant outcomes, KPIs, and reporting requirements to support impact
measurement and decision-making.
• Lead philanthropy data management, reporting, and analytics across giving
programs.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and executive summaries to communicate
program impact and philanthropic investments.
• Analyze grantmaking and product donation data to identify trends, insights, and
opportunities for improvement.
• Support enterprise reporting needs, including annual impact reporting and
internal compliance reviews.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency through automation,
reporting tools, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Oversee operational processes related to product donations across brands and
business units.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and nonprofit partners to facilitate product
donation execution and reporting.
• Maintain documentation and reporting related to donated goods, valuation,
inventory tracking, and compliance requirements.
• Support governance and administration for Gap Foundation, including board
materials, meeting coordination, governance documentation, and reporting.
• Maintain Gap Foundation records and support compliance with nonprofit
regulations and filing requirements.
• Help maintain philanthropy governance policies, procedures, controls, and
reporting standards across corporate giving activities.
• Develop tools and process documentation to strengthen operational
effectiveness and transparency.
Who You Are
• 5–7+ years of experience in corporate philanthropy, nonprofit management,
corporate foundation governance, social impact, ESG reporting, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of philanthropic operations, governance, compliance,
reporting, and nonprofit regulations.
• Experience managing data, reporting systems, dashboards, and analytics.
• Experience with grants management systems, CRM platforms, or philanthropy
databases.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Experience leveraging technology, automation, or AI-enabled tools to improve
operational efficiency and reporting.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-
paced environment.

Salary Range: $119,500 - $155,300 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
