About the Role

The Senior Manager of Corporate Quality is primarily responsible for product quality, safety and regulatory process development and governance to support Gap Inc. new business opportunities, including new products, new business models & partnerships and/or expanded geographic product distribution. You will collaborate, influence, and strategize with cross-functional partners to initiate, implement and standardize new ways to support the emerging business requirements. You will lead and/or be a part of special projects to create and/or evolve existing processes, protocols, manuals and tools, as necessary, and ensure successful documentation and launching of these processes. In addition to the above you will lead and/or participate in Corporate Quality, Product Safety and Regulatory continuous improvement initiatives to respond to evolving business needs.

What You'll Do

  • Establish, implement and monitor relevant quality, safety and regulatory processes, requirements and tools for the brands by working cross-functionally with key internal and external stakeholders including brand R&D, franchisee, licensee and new business development teams.
  • Share and institutionalize best practices SOP’s and protocols across the brands and product assortments to support nimble new business model activation.
  • Lead the implementation and roll out of new product quality, safety and regulatory practices in support of new businesses.
  • Work with other Gap Inc. brand quality leads to develop enterprise-wide product and process solutions.
  • Monitor quality, safety and regulatory performance across business models.
  • Lead industry benchmarking  and in-market product quality surveillance activities and provide real time data and insights on product quality, safety and regulatory best practices.
  • Support a culture of of quality in the brand by providing education, clear communication and ensure a clear understanding of the Gap Inc. quality operating models.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years working in a retail or consumer products environment with a focus on product quality, product safety, product testing, textiles and sourcing/manufacturing, performance product preferred
  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.
  • Proven capability to communicate complex situations and data clearly and effectively
  • Able to understand business requirements and create plausible and effective solutions to address these requirements
  • Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
  • Able to manage projects from creation to conclusion
