About the Role

Searching for an Operations Strategy teammate who can help define and drive transformation across the supply chain in service to Gap Inc.’s iconic portfolio of brands. This individual will be instrumental in changing the way our end to end supply chain operates, bringing innovation and competitive best practices to current ways of working. This role will closely partner with functions across the enterprise including Brands, Logistics, Sourcing, Finance, and Tech. We are looking for an individual who will collaborate, influence, and strategize with these cross-functional partners to evaluate transformation needs and business priorities, design business solutions, and lead implementation activities. This individual must be a problem solver helping identify and align on the ‘so what’s’ through detailed analyses, storytelling, and stakeholder management.

What You'll Do

  • Lead elements of supply chain transformation efforts by working closely with supply chain & operations leadership and cross functional partners
  • Own and manage strategic projects from strategy to pilot, leading cross-functional teams, evaluating hypotheses, defining project scope, and leading operational execution.
  • Develop and refine project scope, structure, and approach. Provide structure to complex problems using frameworks, quantitative and qualitative analyses, and capability roadmaps.
  • Identify key issues, structure and execute analysis, develop conclusions, and present findings to cross-functional leaders. Anticipate roadblocks and proactively address issues before they impact business results.
  • Ensure relevant programs / projects are on track, including budget, timeline and scope.  Communicate progress, risks, and needs to leadership.

Who You Are

  • MBA +4 years of experience in strategy / management consulting.  Experience in supply chain or retail and consumer products.  Owned and delivered work in both strategy and operations space.
  • Intellectually curious and consistently striving to find innovative solutions.  Aptitude and willingness to “get your hands dirty” and deep dive into details.  
  • Critical thinker with high business curiosity; ability to drive insights and decisions utilizing multiple inputs and data sources and a structured approach to problem solving.
  • Adept at developing executive-facing presentations and analyzing data to pull out the “so-what’s”. Fluency in Excel and PPT.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a dynamic business landscape. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and executive presence. Experience working closely with senior executives. Ability to work across functions to influence strategic agendas and operationalize initiatives.
  • Robust project management skills. Ability to own projects from strategy through pilot with minimal supervision.  Adept at building workplans, tracking and communicating status and milestones, and escalating issues / risks.
