About the Role

The Pricing Sr. Analyst for Gap Specialty is responsible for supporting the Inventory Management team with regards to Pricing execution. This Sr. Analyst will partner with cross-functional leads across Inventory Management, Marketing, and Co Plng to help translate Pricing strategies to results. This work will require some cross-brand and cross-functional SME involvement to help bring forward opportunities to drive simplification and efficiency, along with supporting, testing, and helping to roll-out new processes and/or tooling. This individual will also support the Pricing function through partnering with cross-functional leads to ensure pricing is executed as intended, and accurately execute pricing in a timely manner to ensure the financial success of the commercial plan and pricing strategy.

This individual supports the Gap Specialty Pricing team through supporting and execution of Pricing initiatives that contribute to the financial success of the brand. This Sr. Analyst will partner with cross-functional partners on new initiatives and opportunities for innovation, work to establish processes, and share best practices with brand and cross-brand leads. This individual will also partner with and influence leads across the Merchandise Planning, Marketing, Inventory & Store Planning, Inventory Strategy, Site & Store Ops, and Company Planning functions. This Sr. Analyst is a quick learner, detail oriented, fast-moving, team-oriented, and will embrace and support new ways of working.

What You'll Do

  • Supports the Pricing Team in ensuring the completion, accuracy, and timely execution of pricing and promotional events, supporting the Inventory Management team to deliver financial success of the commercial plan and pricing strategy.
  • Responsible for maintainingunning current pricing reporting/tooling and verifying that Inventory Management work translates well to customer facing view.
  • Support the communication of pricing strategies to Inventory and Merchandise Planning teams on a timely basis to ensure consistent and efficient execution of all campaign/promo & clearance events.
  • Support Specialty Merch Planning team by refreshing PEM reports to view pricing position leading up to event go-live.
  • Preview the website before go-live (aka WIP) and during event to ensure pricing execution translates properly; assist in making any warranted pricing changes to alleviate risk or capitalize on opportunity.
  • Provides analytics support to assess pricing effectiveness & partner back with cross-functional leads on findings & go-forward recommendations.
  • Manage communications with Site & Store Ops teams regarding upcoming event exclusions or doorbusters, marketing flags (Site), and/or to resolve any pricing concerns.
  • Own producing, gaining alignment, and executing recommended Store POS position. Provide Store markdown labor forecast.
  • Support new processes and implementation of new practices and tool sets that improve efficiency, capability, and maximize return back to the business.

Who You Are

  • Minimum 3 years experience with understanding of the retail industry.
  • Apparel, Inventory Management, and/or Gap Inc. experience a plus.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to approach all tasks with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Execution and results-focused with emphasis on on-time delivery, ability to work independently, as well as with teams.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional partners through effective collaboration.
  • Possess strong command skills and effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience on projects with complex scope with system and process implementations across an organization.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel. Must be able to create and use pivot tables, filters, lookup functions, etc.

Salary Range: $79,800 - $105,800 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
