About the role
This position leads the Global Security and Crisis Management Center of Excellence. It is directly responsible for developing and leading strategy and integration of efforts for Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Global Security Operations, and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) teams to support the Gap Inc enterprise. This role is responsible for overseeing, development and execution of company procedures, executive protection, travel safety management, emergency preparedness, physical security and technology applications support for the organization.
In addition, this leader will be responsible to strategically develop and/or evolve the life safety training and emergency evacuation programs at all locations, support of security for Corporate Events, and liaison with local law enforcement and life safety agencies. This position requires a high degree of cross functional coordination, customer service, and interdepartmental communications. Executive exposure is significant since day to day security impacts the campus environment of executive personnel at all headquarters locations. This position will be responsible for overseeing the integrity and operational efficiency of security operations at Gap Inc.’s Campuses. Ths role reports directly to the SVP/Head of Asset Protection (AP) and is on the AP leadership team.
What you'll do
Develop, implement, and execute
Global Security, BCP, and Crisis Management
strategy to protect customers, employees, assets, and brands.
Develop, align and implement operating procedures and processes for all HQ locations including International Sourcing locations
Develop consultative partnerships with business leaders to enable business growth while protecting assets and mitigating risks.
Partner with Headquarter and Corporate Business partners to Identify, Prioritize, Develop and Implement Physical Security, Emergency Preparedness, Travel Safety Management, Investigations and Safety Strategies.
Provide safeness, or freedom from harm, wherever our teams are present and our customers shop
Integration of Emergency Response Plans with global Crisis Management plan, and Corporate Investigations.
Recruits, hires and develops people to drive a culture of high performance and engagement. Accountable for team performance through teaching, coaching and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities

Who you are
Significant experience in Global Security, Asset Protection, or Business Continuity Planning. Proven track record of success setting strategy and leading and developing teams of professionals.
Knowledge and experience building Asset Protection, Global Security, and BCP policies, procedures, and programs
Manage multiple demands at once, work well under pressure Manages responsibilities confidently as unexpected issues arise
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence across multiple stakeholders and functions
Develop innovative solutions for complex situations in a fast-changing environment; cover a wide range of activities requiring complex judgments
Comprehensive understanding of theories and practices in multiple related subject areas
Relationships with local and Federal Law Enforcement is preferential
