About the role

MINIMUM

What you'll do

  • High school diploma or GED Certification

  • Basic computer (10-key experience) & basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

  • Enthusiasm for customer service

  • Must be at least 16 years of age

  • Distribution services/warehouse experience preferred

  • A moderate level of proficiency in speaking & understanding written & spoken English is required for this position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide superior customer service via distribution in inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, quality assurance, receiving, replenishment, returnsefurbishment, & transfers

  • Process high volume of customer orders, merchandise, and packages in fast-paced environment

  • Meet production standards by completing the merchandise/order processing function with accuracy and efficiency

  • Cross-train in other departments/buildings to help meet business need

  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment

  • Provide input and ideas to enhance systems, programs and work environment

  • Comfortable working in a “cooperative team focused” environment

  • Flexibility and adaptability to rapid change

  • May operate distribution equipment after training & certification

Who you are

PHYSICAL

  • Stand and walk for up to 100% of shift

  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 25-35 lbs. for approximately 80% of shift

  • Ability to go up and down stairs up to 10% of shift

  • Reach at shoulder level for approximately 80% of shift

  • Reach overhead for approximately 50% of shift

  • Must have sufficient arm/hands dexterity to process merchandise orders

  • Sufficient sight to accurately read essential operational equipment

  • Must be able to communicate effectively both audibly and verbally in all operational areas

  • Must have the ability to work with hands extended away from the body 75% of shift.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

All work is done inside a comfortable & friendly Distribution Center/Warehouse environment.
