What you'll do

  • Management of development and production timelines.

  • Monitor development status of all programs by season, including status of counter submits, and

    developmental quality testing

  • Create RD’s in PLM and maintain PLM system for fabric specifications, cost, lead-time

  • Work with Design, Product Development, and Quality teams to develop production ready product for aesthetic, cost, and quality performance.

  • Work closely with all vendors and GIS offices to ensure development timelines are met and issues are resolved quickly.

  • Analyze test reports, review failures with Quality team, make recommendations and communicate exceptions to manager and cross functional teams

  • Assist in making appointments for mill weeks, coordinate virtual presentations, and assist in building seasonal fabric presentations for design

  • Maintain fabric library-

    Ensure fabric library is up to date for seasonal inspiration and archived fabrics

  • Participate in weekly CFT meetings to discuss any raw material issues, outstanding testing, and update team on status.

Who you are

  • Fabric knowledge/expertise- understanding of fabric and garment construction and manufacturing/sourcing processes.

  • Problem Solver- experience using an analytical approach to solve problems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented with strong follow through

  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills

  • Basic cost and negotiation skills, basic retail math skills

  • Strong Collaboration and Influencing Skills

  • Change Agile, solution oriented

  • Must be computer literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)

  • College degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in Fabric R&D
