About the role
As a Gap Inc. Intern, you will get to meet our senior executives and leaders in technology and digital. You will work on individual projects as well as a challenging group project that you will present to senior management at the end of the summer. You will learn that we work hard, but we play hard too. We invite you to participate in events, as well!
The Change Management team facilitates the people side of change across Gap, Inc. by enabling adoption and sustainability of technical system implementations with the ultimate goal of increasing profitability across Gap, Inc. As an intern on the team you will play a critical role in driving change!
What you'll do
Support and execute comprehensive change management strategies for technology program-level initiatives
Learn our Change Management Operating Model, and leverage it to support creation, development, and/or execution of activities and deliverables for one change management project. Activities and deliverables include such things as: impact assessments, communication plans, training plans, or measurement plans for adoption
Participate in Change Management team activities, contributes to team culture and create visibility to Change Management team efforts
Who you are
Graduate Student with one year left to complete your degree (graduating between December 2021 - August 2022) & 3+ years work experience, including projects with complex scope and with system and process implementations. Experience with communication and training preferred
Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to change with an eagerness to learn
Curiosity for technology, what drives the business, and understanding how individual stakeholders approach their roles
Excitement at the challenge to collaborate with a range of cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to work through others and establish strong relationships
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences including successfully presenting to multiple levels of an organization
Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
