About the Role
The Senior HR Manager is a strategic HR leader responsible for driving people strategies that enable business performance and growth across the Canada organization. This role partners closely with business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to deliver talent, organizational, and operational outcomes, while providing thought leadership on complex people matters.
This role reports to the HR Director, Canada. It is a remote position with regular travel required to support field teams and business priorities.
The role balances strategic partnership with strong execution, ensuring alignment to country-specific requirements and consistency in HR practices.
What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted advisor to Regional and District Leadership Teams, providing guidance on the people and organizational implications of business strategies and decisions
- Lead the execution of country and field HR strategies, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term talent objectives
- Drive talent management initiatives including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development
- Provide oversight and direction on employee relations, corrective action, employment decisions, and complex accommodation.
- Lead the implementation of HR programs and initiatives, ensuring consistency, compliance, and effective execution across the business
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities and inform data-driven decisions
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Legal, and Total Rewards to deliver integrated people solutions
- Support and lead change management initiatives, ensuring effective adoption and sustained outcomes across client groups
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, coach, and develop HR team members, including HR Generalists, fostering capability building and career growth
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships and drive alignment across HR and business stakeholders
- Provide thought leadership and elevate HR impact through both direct and matrixed influence across the organization
Operational & Canada-Specific Accountability
- Provide oversight on key country-specific processes including employment decisions, AP dispositions, and compliance requirements
- Ensure effective management of HR programs, risk, and compliance across the Canada business
- Partner closely with HR Generalists to ensure excellence in execution of LOA, accommodations, and other operational processes
Who You Are
- 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting business leaders in a generalist or HR business partner capacity
- Strong knowledge across core HR disciplines including employee relations, talent management, compensation, benefits, and employment law
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders, with strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated experience leading talent strategies, organizational change, and workforce planning initiatives
- Ability to navigate complex situations, analyze data, and make sound, balanced decisions
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong leadership capability with experience coaching and developing others
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to influence across multiple levels of the organization
- High level of personal integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism
Education & Credentials:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- CHRP designation completed or in progress preferred
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Workday and HR analytics tools is an asset

Salary Range: $130,800 - $186,200 CAD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on local and provincial requirements.
