Today, Water.org, Gap Inc.’s global nonprofit partner working to bring safe water and sanitation to the world, co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, announced the launch of Get Blue™ — a collective effort aimed at turning everyday actions into a powerful force to Bring Water Home™ and help end the global water crisis.

Gap, alongside other founding partners including Starbucks, Amazon and Ecolab, is joining the movement by offering customers a simple way to participate in addressing one of the world’s most solvable challenges: access to safe water.

Through Get Blue, Gap is connecting the brand’s long-standing commitment to responsible water use with proven, scalable solutions pioneered by Water.org to help ensure more people around the world have access to safe water and the improved health and opportunities that flow from it — bridging the gap to a brighter future.

Get Blue was born out of Gap Inc.’s Common Ground Project, an initiative designed to convene leaders across industries to turn shared challenges into shared solutions. It aims to bring water back to the center of the cultural conversation—helping people better understand the scale of the challenge and the role collaboration can play in solving it. Designed as a long-term platform, Get Blue brings together business leadership, consumer engagement, and collective action to help turn awareness into sustained impact.

About the Gap Get Blue Capsule
Gap’s Get Blue capsule collection, launching June 9, reimagines classic Gap icons to amplify Gap and Water.org’s shared mission of providing access to safe water. The 22- piece assortment, available now on gap.com and in select stores, includes essentials like denim, tees, and sweats for the full family, with archive-inspired design details across key styles like heavyweight hoodies, ringer tees, denim jackets, and accessories.

With every purchase from the Get Blue collection, Gap will donate $5 to Water.org, helping one person gain lasting access to safe water. Gap will also sell a limited-edition Get Blue bracelet, available for purchase in select Gap stores and online.

Mobilizing Creators and the TikTok Community to Join #GetBlue
On June 10, 2026, Get Blue and its founding partners invite consumers to amplify the Get Blue message on TikTok, in a movement kicked off by Matt Damon himself. To raise awareness of the more than 2 billion people who lack access to safe water, film yourself changing one thing blue — like wearing your favorite Get Blue product, painting your nails blue, swapping to a blue reusable water bottle — then nominate friends and followers to do the same and pass it on using #GetBlue and #BringWaterHome.
