The limited-edition collections celebrate football culture and community through a global design lens

Gap kicks off Summer 2026 with the launch of two exclusive collections rooted in football fandom, with designs and creative direction by Ouigi Theodore, longtime Gap collaborator and founder of The Brooklyn Circus. The collections capture the unifying power of football and its vibrant culture as a global language of identity, heritage, and community.

“Ouigi Theodore is a true collaborator and a culture shifter who understands that fashion is most powerful when it tells a story,” said Mark Breitbard, President and CEO of Gap brand. “This collection bridges the gap between heritage style and the electric energy of football fandom and offers fans a way to express their passion with both soul and originality.”

On May 29, ahead of the sport’s biggest stage this summer, Gap will release The OuiGap collection designed in collaboration with Ouigi Theodore – an elevated, football-inspired apparel and accessories collection, paying tribute to the style influences that define the global game. Born in Haiti in 1974, the same year Haiti’s national football team made history on the world stage, Theodore brings a personal connection to the collection that goes beyond inspiration. After moving to the U.S. and growing up between Haitian heritage and New York City style, football remained a powerful thread in his childhood, identity, and creative imagination.

Through the collection, Theodore pays tribute to Haiti’s historic 1974 football team with thoughtful design details woven throughout the assortment, including the recurring “’74” motif featured across jerseys, jackets, knits, and coordinated separates. The collection builds on the storytelling that has become synonymous with Theodore’s work at The Brooklyn Circus, connecting diaspora, sport, music, and style through fashion, while expanding on the success of Gap’s 2023 collaboration with the Brooklyn-based brand.

“There’s something powerful about seeing global sport, heritage, fashion, and art come together,” said Ouigi Theodore, Founder of The Brooklyn Circus. “The collection we designed with Gap was created in that spirit. I became a designer to tell stories with history, meaning, and a future. Ayiti to the Future.”

Gap has also released an additional product capsule highlighting the universal spirit of football and the communities that define it. Designed with global fans in mind, the collection includes jerseys, as well as tees, hoodies, and hats for adults and kids, representing global teams including the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, France, England, Brazil, and Japan.

The launches reflect Gap’s continued commitment to bridging fashion and culture, celebrating football as more than a sport, but a united global community. The campaigns, creative directed by Ouigi Theodore and shot by Ackime Snow, celebrate what Theodore calls the “global village” — featuring a cast built of faces from all over the world, representing their teams with pride, style, and heritage.

To celebrate the launch and this Summer’s global football moment, Gap and Ouigi Theodore will host a community event in New York City this June, bringing together football, fashion, music, and culture through the lens of the global village.

Products from both collections will be available on gap.com and in select Gap stores across key host cities. The OuiGap collection launches May 29, and team merchandise is available now. The OuiGap collection will be carried across international markets, including United Kingdom, Turkey, China, Vietnam and Mexico and Japan. Jerseys and team merchandise will be available in Paraguay, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Turkey, Greece, China, Vietnam, Peru, Uruguay, Mexico, Spain, Zalando and Japan.
