Athleta Launches New Activate Mask

Today, Athleta launched their highly anticipated Activate Mask, their most innovative, and technical mask yet, great for both workouts and everyday life. 

Designed in collaboration with the Emergency Design Collective, the mask was developed with patent-pending technology to help block particles and keep air flowing. Engineered with TurboDry™ fabric, Athleta tested its performance with wear-testers, including the most-decorated track and field athlete Allyson Felix, to ensure comfort during fitness. 

Created to be worn comfortably during workouts, the mask is the latest step in Athleta’s support of all women, empowering them through sport and movement. The Activate mask went through multiple rounds of testing for performance and quality, taking into account the feedback of customers and wear-testers alike, from color options to the best fit that doesn’t move, even when you do.  

The design is highly technical, with four layers of fabric that still make for a breathable mask; the TurboDry™ fabric draws moisture away from the face and pulls it out to the exterior to evaporate with airflow. This mask is washable and reusable – so you can use it again and again. Please hand wash cold and line dry to maintain the amazing membrane! It also features a comfortable nose bridge and adjustable ear loops to offer the most ideal fit for different face shapes and sizes. The design has only one seam, extending from nose to chin, to avoid slippage when speaking and other discomfort on the face.  

The mask is available on the App, and in-stores beginning November 18.
