About the Role

As part of Gap Inc.’s digital and process transformation in Finance, we’re looking for an experienced Manager, Business Intelligence Finance to support our financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for a large, multi-brand retail organization.

What You'll Do

  • What you’ll do / Job description:

     Key Responsibilities·       Lead the design, development, and maintenance of financial and performance reporting solutions using Oracle EPM tools (Narrative Reporting, FCCS, Freeform, Smart View) and Oracle OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence).·       Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing leadership with clear, actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making.·       Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and operational excellence.·       Drive the optimization of dashboards, calculations, hierarchies, and reports in the Oracle EPM Cloud environment and OTBI to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability.·       Partner with business leaders to oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and analysis.·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial reporting with organizational goals and priorities.·       Oversee compliance with financial reporting standards, internal controls, and data security best practices.·       Work on initiatives to enhance automation, streamline reporting processes, and strengthen data governance.·       Provide guidance, training, and support to finance users on Oracle EPM, OTBI and related reporting tools.Required Qualifications·       7+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, analysis, or related roles, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.·       Deep expertise with Oracle EPM Cloud tools (Narrative Reporting, Freeform, FCCS, Smart View), Oracle OTBI development and advanced knowledge of Oracle Hyperion/Essbase.·       Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial planning cycles, and corporate finance best practices.·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS/CIS, or related field.  Preferred Qualifications·       Familiarity with other business intelligence and analytics platforms.·       Ability to think strategically, identify improvement opportunities, and lead change initiatives.·       Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience integrating Oracle EPM with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP).
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for automation and advanced data analysis.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning, or AI-driven forecasting.
  • Understanding of financial consolidation processes and multi-currency reporting.
  • Background in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Change management or training program leadership experience for finance technology adoption.
