About the Role

In this role, you will support the Logistics Finance function for a large, multi-brand retailer in a fast-paced, complex environment. You will oversee the end-to-end logistics invoice and payment processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies. This role supervises a team of procurement analysts, collaborates with internal departments and external providers, and drives process improvements to optimize and streamline.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of eight procurement analysts
  • Ensure compliance of the end-to-end process while identifying areas of opportunity to drive efficiency
  • Enforce standardized processes to drive operational consistency and accountability across cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate with external partners to ensure seamless invoice transmission, auditing, and payment.  Oversee onboarding and transition during provider changes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations from providers and internal departments
  • Act as the Distribution Center ordering subject matter expert, with deep understanding of lead times, inventory levels, and demand planning to ensure alignment with business objectives and service level expectations
  • Collaborate with finance teams to support month-end close and reporting
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
  • Execute cross-training
  • This role reports to the U.S. based leader and interacts with business partners globally
  • Maintain standard working hours of 12pm – 9pm local time

Who You Are

  • Ideal candidate holds a Chartered Accountant qualification or an MBA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Must have a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or shared services. Exposure to the retail sector will be considered an added advantage
    • 3+ years of leadership experience, including hiring, team building, and managing offshore resources.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of EDI and invoicing workflows
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude who is flexible and can handle ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment
